After running
every first Thursday of the month for the last 3 years, Diversity,
with it's night of the Diverse and the Perverse is unfortunately
closing.
The building is
being converted into a wine bar......
The venue for
our last pervery in Love Street is The Love Street Club situated,
surprisingly enough, on Love Street in the heart of the old Roman
stronghold of Chester. An imposing building allegedly erected
upon the remains of a Roman bath house … veni, vide, veres
da soap ..... and now
a nice chianti?
Diversity is
a small, friendly gathering with a growing clientele. Items from
the Roissy Workshops collection are arranged throughout the premises
for the delight of the patrons.
In addition
to the 'usual offices' of such clubs the venue provides an outstanding
free buffet just after midnight, hot dogs or pizza and of course
- chips (that's fries for anyone reading this in American) with
dips. Where else can one indulge in a chip buttie in such historic
surroundings?

BUT your name will be placed on the door.
